		Hannibal is a 2008 film, based on the novel by Ross Lekie, directed by and starring Vin Diesel.
		It centers on the Carthaginian commander Hannibal who led a mighty army across the Alps and wreaked havoc on the Romans from 218 BC until his defeat in 202 BC.
		Diesel said that he was in "soft pre-production" at that time, attempting to reduce the film's proposed budget - which an unnamed studio had quoted at a titanic 217 million dollars - down to a more manageable 50 million dollars.

	Prince Caspian To Return To Narnia In 2008 - FilmFocus.Co.UK - News, Reviews and more...
		The film decided to postpone it's release after Columbia Pictures laid claim to December 2007 as the release date for their children's fantasy fable The Water Horse.
		Both films are produced by Walden Media and clearly The House of Mouse opted to avoid an all out battle against the new contender as releasing both films in such close proximity would only damage both of their total box office takings, something no studio wants to see happen to their beloved franchises.
		So, sadly, C. Lewis' fans must wait that little bit longer until they return to the magical world of Narnia but hopefully the extra production time will be used to ensure the sequel arrives with as much fanfare as the original.

	/FILM - The Chronicles of Narnia moved to Summer 2008
		The sequel to Disney's The Chronicles of Narnia has been been pushed back from Christmas 2007 to sometime in summer 2008 to avoid conflict with a similarly themed fantasy movie.
		The Chronicals of Narnia: Prince Caspian was supposed to hit theaters on December 14th, but Columbia Pictures announced that the Water Horse would bow on December 8th.
