	The Starfleet Museum - Klingon D7 Cruiser
		Rushed into service in the early 2250s to fulfill roles of offense, defense, and diplomacy, the D7 suffered numerous teething problems but developed into the Klingons' most reliable cruiser design, which formed the basis for descendant classes serving into the late 24th century.
		This too-early introduction meant that several problems that normally would have been encountered and solved in the laboratory during development were instead to be dealt with by engineers in the field.
		After these teething problems were solved in the early 2250s, the rugged, workmanlike engineering typical of 3rd-generation Klingon reactors proved highly reliable, if not as elegant or advanced as Federation designs.

		A couple of suggestions, mainly pertaining to the nacelles: first, those pylons look neat, but don't really fit in the 2250's era, IMO, with the bent angles.
		I think the ship might look better if the nacelles were held in closer to the hull, by getting rid of that second, outer segment of the pylons.
		Constitution is from the 2240s, so this is a bit more advanced, leaning toward the refit configuration.

		The original fourteen Constitution class ships were built in the 2240s and early 2250s, while the improved Bonhomme Richard design followed in the late 2250s.
