According to the Records of the Historian: Emperor Qinshihuang succeeded to the throne of Qin at the age of 13 (246 BC).
Later a shepherd went into a cave of the mausoleum, dug by Xiang Yu, to look for his sheep with a torch in his hand and a second fire was ignited to burn away all the remaining tomb structures inside and out.
