		Interstate 280, also known as the Junipero Serra Freeway, is a 57-mile-long (92 km) interstate highway in the San Francisco Bay Area metropolitan area of Northern California.
		When Interstate 280 re-emerges in a decidedly urbanized area, it does so in the city of San Bruno and the interstate passes through South San Francisco and Daly City before it runs across a southeastern swath of the city of San Francisco on the way to its northern terminus.
		Most of Interstate 280, from San Jose to San Bruno, is designated as the Junipero Serra Freeway in honor of Spanish missionary Junípero Serra, who founded many of California's missions in the 18th century.

	Interstate 280
		I-280 was, and perhaps still is at the center of a controversy between Illinois and Iowa.
		Interstate 280 opened in 1956 as part of the Toledo-Detroit Expressway, which also included what is now I-75 from the I-280 terminus to US 24 in Flat Rock, Michigan; and a segment south of the Ohio Turnpike, ending at US 20/23.
		I-280 ended at the Ohio Turnpike, while the 2-mile segment between the Turnpike and the Fremont Pike (US 23) was redesignated OH 420 in 1970.

		One other slight comfort-reducer is that the HD 280 cable is a retro curly cord, with a minimally-stretched length of about a metre and a half, and a useless twanging maximum length of about three metres.
		In the manual (available in PDF format here), Sennheiser quote the HD 280 frequency response as being from a perfectly adequate 25kHz to a tooth-loosening 8Hz - but those are the minus ten decibel (dB) points, which aren't actually very informative.
		The HD 280 Pros are decently comfortable, and seem quite sturdy despite their clever-clever ear-cup hinges, and they're somewhat repairable, if their sturdiness should fail.
