29th of January 2004 (Thu) 12:09 PM Once the actions file is in the Actions folder on disk, then go to the Actions tab (in PS) and select the little arrow (on the right at the top) and select "Load Actions...", browse for your new action and voila.
If you have copied the actions to the folder that the other actions are stored, launch Photoshop and on the actions menu there is a sideways arrow that will open the actions options menu about half way down you will see "load", click it and go to the actions you want to use.
