29th century - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The 29th century (Gregorian Calendar) comprises the years 2801-2900.
(Some people argue that, because there was no year 0, this is not the same as the 29th century, although some people, correctly or incorrectly, treat it as so).

Encyclopedia: 29th century BC Norwegians drink 10.7 kilograms of coffee per person each year.
This ordinal numbering is still present in the names of the millennia and centuries, for example 1st Millennium or the 20th century, and sometimes in the names of decades, e.g.
However, given that Gregorian calendar is an accepted standard, it is valid to discuss the significant dates within it, be it the timing of religious festivals (such as the moving date of Easter which Dionysius Exiguus was involved in calculating) or the delineation of significant periods of time, such as the end of a millennium.

If the 2 digit century accumulated day is greater than 31, loop 104 is performed which decrements the 2 digit century accumulated day by 31 and increments the day variable by 1 until the 2 digit century accumulated day is less than 32, in which case, path 103 is followed to a next step 105.
Step 116 decrements the century representation from the year field by 19, sets a first variable (N 1) equal to the integer portion of the century representation divided by 3, and sets a second variable (N2) equal to the remainder portion of a century representation divided by three.
However, ifthe century accumulated month is greater than 12, loop 127 is followed and the 2 digit century accumulated month is decremented by 12, and the month variable is incremented by 1 until the century accumulated month is less than 13.

Though his first-innings century was not his best effort in aesthetic terms, as he survived quite a few close calls and a very confident caught behind appeal early on, it was a truly historic innings.
Though Sachin is the first player to score a double of 10,000 runs, and 100 wickets in one-day internationals, it is said that most of his centuries are on the flat pitches of the sub-continent.

It was his first century against Pakistan, making him the fifth batsman in the history of the game - the others are Australian Steve Waugh, Gary Kirsten of South Africa and Indians Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid - to register hundreds against all Test-playing nations.
While cherishing the achievement, the 36-year-old Lara felt, however, that he needed to score even more heavily as he lamented the fact that West Indies were unable to bat the full day after winning the toss on a hard, true pitch at Kensington Oval.
It was Lara's third century in four Tests, and his second at Kensington this year, following 176 in the first innings of the third match against South Africa a month ago.
