		Gorillaz is a virtual band, comprised of four fictional animated band members: 2D, Murdoc, Noodle and Russel.
		The visual element of the evenings was provided by Gorillaz co-creator Jamie Hewlett and displayed on screens on the stage, and the artists performed in front of the screens, with Damon Albarn in silhouette form for most of the concert (unlike previous concerts, where the musicians were behind the screens, with only silhouettes visible).
		In the winter of 1999 Murdoc acquired the property of Kong Studios, a sprawling haunted studio with a rather shady history, situated atop a hill in the midst of a run-down cemetery and landfill in Districtshire, Essex.

	Computer Arts - Pete Fowler creates new animation for Kia advert
		The advert is directed by Pete Candeland of Passion pictures, the man responsible for four of the Gorillaz music videos, which similarly made use of the work of cult illustrator Jamie Hewlett, creator of Tank Girl.
		The challenge for Candeland and his CG team was representing the 2D characters in 3D while keeping Fowler's trademark style.
		Illustrator and designer Pete Fowler, best known for his work with the Super Furry Animals and his Monsterism.net Website, has animated an advert for Kia's new Picanto range.

		If the "remix album" designation isn't enough of a caveat, the Spacemonkeyz's relegation of Damon/2D's sleepy hooks (easily the best part of the original Gorillaz record) to passing cameo appearances on this dubby overhaul of the cartoon super-group's debut should be enough reason to steer clear.
		As per usual for remix records, one, maybe two, decent tracks stand out among the filler, and Laika Come Home meets that quota at least.
