Juno, the third asteroid ever discovered, was first spotted by astronomers early in the 19th century.
The astronomers concluded that the asteroid had recently (in astronomical terms) collided with another object, resulting in a 60-mile-wide crater, or possibly a smaller crater that is surrounded by a 60-mile blanket of ejecta debris.

When Did the asteroids Become Minor Planets?
The discoveries of Juno in 1804 and Vesta in 1807 raised concern in astronomers of the day that the asteroids were fragments of a planet that had somehow disintegrated.
Cunningham (1988) states that this set of symbols for the asteroids lasted until 1931 when it was replaced by a number followed directly by the name; however, I have not been able to find an official notice of the adoption of the present scheme of numbering asteroids.
The diameters of the first three asteroids were derived from direct estimates of the sizes of their disks by Schroter(1811) and are directly comparable to the 2390 km of Pluto.

 Jenny, Juno (Region-3)
The controversial can of worms "Jenny, Juno" has finally popped its lid: the second film by director Kim Ho-joon of the famed "My Little Bride," "Jenny, Juno" was revealed for the first time at a press screening on February 1.
The movie, which depicts a 15-year-old middle school student's pregnancy and delivery, initially received a rating of "18 years or over" by the Korean Media Rating Board, but the rating was lowered to "15 years or over" after an appeal for reconsideration, triggering a fierce debate on the ethics and freedom of movie-making.
To begin with the conclusion, "Jenny, Juno" belies the uproar surrounding it by being calm to the point of blandness.

 Richard Nakka's Experimental Rocketry Site
As a booster, the Juno rocket motor is designed to have a short burn, high thrust operation, which will provide the rocket vehicle with a rapid climb off the launch pad, and achieve ample velocity to ensure a stable vertical attitude for second stage firing.
To deliver the desired thrust profile, the motor utilizes a single hollow cylindrical grain of approximately 650 grams (1.4 lbs) mass, with unrestricted burning.
As the casing is steel, minor blowby resulting from o-ring failure would not have a serious consequence, thus a single o-ring is acceptable (unlike an aluminum alloy casing, where even minor blowby could lead to catastrophic motor failure).
