Mirror LCD TV - The ad notam 30.0
The display is heavy and is specially developed to be installed and fastened behind support panels or a bearing surface such as a mirror, lacquered glass, or metal (other materials, though not specified, may also be used.) This bearing surface makes up the second part of the completed unit.
Ad notam sent us a completed unit attached to what they smartly refer to as a Magic Mirror™.
This is a specially-formulated first-surface reflecting mirror that allows the LCD television to be mounted from behind using self adhesive metal strips which magnetically secure the display to the bearing mirror.

 AllPolitics - Spin Patrol: A Misleading Crime Ad - July 30, 1996
Consider the ad, which started running in Minnesota last week and claims Wellstone is too liberal on crime.
On all three votes cited by the Republican TV ad, Minnesota's Republican senator at the time, David Durenberger, voted the same way.
Ads like that could backfire and make the Republican candidate, Rudy Boschwitz, a victim of friendly Republican fire.

Channel 30 pulls ad against Prop. 5
The stations, all ABC-owned, including KFSN Channel 30, removed the advertisements from airplay when lawyers working for the Yes on Proposition 5 campaign sent letters to station managers saying the commercial depicting the measure's harmful effects on the environment was "unequivocably and patently false."
Valari Staab, KFSN general manager and president, confirmed she temporarily pulled the ads after corporate lawyers said it would be the best immediate course of action.
The ad in question is a recently released 30-second television spot asserting that Proposition 5 could lead to widespread environmental degradation because tribes building casinos would be "exempt from environmental laws so they can dump sewage and toxic waste and pollute our air and water."

 Newton's Date For The Crucifixion
The AD 34 choice has few supporters; it conflicts with the date of Paul's conversion, which Newton had apparently not considered, and arguments for a fifth passover and those based on the ripeness of the corn are not compelling.
However, although Newton's arguments for AD 34 have not passed the test of time, the basis for his second choice of AD 33 is still sound.
The principal reason for having preferred AD 30 was that Christ was supposedly born about 6 BC, before the death of Herod in 4 BC, which favors AD 30 because Christ allegedly lived about 33 years.

JS Online: Dean to air 30-minute ad only in Madison
Dean campaign manager Joe Trippi said Friday that the ad is meant "not to move voters" as political spots are normally designed to do, but to get people who already support Dean to give money or enlist as volunteers over the Internet.
Dean so far is the only one in the nine-person Democratic field to air TV ads in Wisconsin, having spent about $100,000 to advertise in Madison at the end of August and early September.
The recurrent theme of the ad as a whole is grass-roots fund raising - accumulating large numbers of small donors to compete with President Bush's huge and growing campaign treasury.

It is the Napoleon Brandy ad that says, "Nakatikim ka na ba ng kinse anyos?" ["Have you tasted a 15-year-old?"] I do not particularly mind that I share the company of the moralists on this, the ones who raised a hue and cry over the movie "Live Show" some years ago.
It was an ad for a brand of king-size cigarettes -- as opposed to the short ones in flip-top boxes -- and the copy he had in mind was, "Pahabaan tayo." Literally, "let's compare lengths," but the Tagalog of course unmistakably suggests which lengths are being compared.
The power of ads precisely is its subliminal message, and the subliminal message of that ad is inescapable.

Fourteen years later, the Neo-Platonist mathematician and the last person known to have taught at the Mouseion, Hypatia, was murdered, marking the end of Paganism in Alexandria.

CBS Censors Moveon.org's Winning Bush in 30 Seconds Ad - Mac Forums   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-10)
While this ad is tasteful, and accurate, as Bill O'Reilly was quick to point out, the entire MoveOn organization has already fallen under attack from the right for those two Hitler comparison ads that slipped through the cracks.
I'm saying I think it's more likely CBS is not airing this ad because they fear the reprecussions from certain right-wing groups, who will surely push at least some sort of uprising against CBS for showing this ad, much like they did in the Reagan situation.
I don't think we can say CBS's decision to not run this ad is the result of a judgement call they themselves made on its content (as in a call in which they decided whether or not they agreed with it's message), or on the group which produced it.

Bush in 30 seconds ad rejected by Viacom. :: AdLand ad-rag.com :: by the adgrunts for the adgrunts advertising blog ...
A CBS spokesman said the decision against broadcasting the spot had nothing to do with either the Super Bowl or the ad's specific issue but was because the network has had a long-term policy not to air issue ads anywhere on the network.
I'm guessing that anti-smoking and the like aren't "issues" though because Phillip Morris USA will be airing one :30 anti-smoking/corporate responsibility spot, the American Legacy Foundation will have one :30 anti-smoking spot, as well as the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy with one :30 (by O&M) during the game and one post-game.
By running an ad from the White House Office of Drug Policy while turning down ads by MoveOn.org Voter Fund and PETA, CBS appears to be acting out of political bias, censoring ads which express opinions it dislikes.

What Happened in 30 AD? - Part One
The first three Gospels are traditionally dated between 50-65 AD and the Gospel of John 80-95 AD (Criswell, pp.1327, 1498).
The Jewish Talmud (70-200 AD) records, "On the eve of the Passover, Yeshu (Hebrew for Jesus) was hanged" (Quoted in Habermas, p.98).
That this material is traditional and pre-Pauline is evident from the technical terms "delivered" and "received," the parallelism and somewhat stylized content, the proper names of Cephas and James, the non-Pauline words, and the possibility of an Aramaic original.

Yahoo UK and Ireland is to offer and#163;30,000 worth of free ad space as part of a competition aimed at luring more agencies to use the internet as an advertising medium.
The workshops follow on from Yahoo's Creative summit last month, and the £30,000 of ad space will be given out at the first workshop in mid-November to the best online creative concept for a current traditional campaign.
The organisation believes that there is too much emphasis on the return rates of online campaigns and not enough focus on the creative side, and is trying to redress the balance and share some of the best creative work with a wider audience.
