 Speed Demos Archive
As for TAS/built runs, yes, 30uv1617 is particularly recommended, it's a very high quality demo.
For me it's no surprise that there's only a handful of built demos around with the longest one standing at 0:41.
Marijo Sedlic's 30uv1617 is the closest to perfection at the moment, although there have been new tricks being discovered since.

Doomworld -- Top Story -- 10 Years of Doom: Day 2
Adam: If we talk about DOOM II Done Quicker, I think that it should've happened years ago, back when there was more enthusiasm for the project.
Anyone who has seen 30uv1617 knows how much more complex the route became, compared to the first Done Quick run.
If you know the top players around or me, you could see what kind of a monster project that would be, with all these perfectionist people around ;-) I think there's a far better possibility of a PWAD Done Quick run.

 30uv1437 Information
This run eclipsed his previous times of 14:48 and 14:41 in 30uv1448 and 30uv1441, respectively.
Initially, 30uv1448 eclipsed the March 2000 tool-assisted record of 16 minutes, 17 seconds by Marijo Sedlic in 30uv1617.
Major new tricks discovered since Sedlic's run included a rocket jump on Level 7 that saved 36 seconds and another on Level 14 that saved 12 seconds.
