		This can be easily corrected by breaking off the 307 timing tab and then buying one of the 350-400 type timing tabs that is attached by 2 of the timing cover bolts.
		The primary things that you will HAVE to use on the 383 (or SB400) is the UNbalanced 400 style harmonic balancer and flywheel (or flexplate for an auto tranny).

		As with all American Speed engines, the 383 was dyno-tested before it was shipped.
		The crankshaft from the car’s original 305 had a smaller hub than the early style 383 crank, so of course it didn’t fit.

		Append: (O:O) HANS HENDRIKS Checks for temporary file 04 Jul00 12:05 PM KB 15573 shows that when you do a "stream *", Qedit saves the current file into a temporary file called "qeditjob".
		Cierror is set to 383 when you try to purge a nonexistent file.
		My guess is that Qedit tries to purge qeditjob,temp before saving the current file to that name, and fails.
