		Yes, I do have Nero installed, but it was installed all along while the codec was working until it stopped working.
		I've tried both uninstalling nimo and re-installing over top of old installs and yes, I've tried the 3ivx codec direct from the official website but it still doesn't work.
		I'm going to try uninstalling and reinstalling stuff and same for the "official" 3ivx codec.

	AppleInsider - apple encodes their stream in 3ivx?
		When installed, 3ivx handles the playback of formats which would otherwise be played back by quicktime or unplayable altogether.
		However, it will be played back by the 3ivx component which you installed on top of quicktime.
		I installed 3ivx somewhat recently and it could easily explain the problems I've had.

		10 December 2002 05:23 PM I've been encoding files with 3ivx D4 PR2 since the day it was released, and the quality is outstanding.
		I have heard that the quality is not that bad but not every good either, not anywhere near xvid or divx.
