42 BELOW is a (Unaged colorless liquor originating in Russia) vodka made by Pacific Dawn Distillers in Ponsonby, (The largest city and principal port of New Zealand) Auckland, (An independent country within the British Commonwealth; achieved independence from the United Kingdom in 1907; known for sheep and spectacular scenery) New Zealand.
The name is supposed to refer to the southern latitude where it is produced just north of Wellington on the country's 42nd parallel and also to its 42% alcohol content.
