The Oldsmobile 442 was a muscle car option package for the F-85 and Cutlass models sold in the United States from the 1964 model year.
The 442 package originally consisted of the B09 police option, which included a 290 hp 330 in³ V8 (though the 442 had a hotter cam for 310 hp and 355 ft.lbf) and a heavy-duty suspension, as well as the 4-speed transmission, dual exhausts, dual-snorkel air cleaner, and rear stabilizer bar.
This 442 was retired with the RWD Supreme in 1987.

 442 specs for the 65   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-11-06)
A true 442 has 4 holes where the rear-end upper control arm bolts to the frame (note: 10 bolt rears are in the 3rd hole from the top, 12 bolts are in the 2nd), the Cutlass only has 1 hole.
This is the correct air cleaner used on the 65 442.
