		Remember that UHF radio is only line of sight contact, so if you are looking for long distance DX to overseas countries then you would be better off with a CB radio, but for this you need a licence.
		If you live in a built up area then you will not get very far with the 446 radios, remember they only put out 500mw (if you are lucky!).
		Ideal use for the 446 band is sporting events, car to car in convoy, camping or caravanning with the kids.
