The 4AD is perhaps the most familiar Singer Roadster to the North American market and certainly the most plentiful.
The 4AD and 4AB are virtually identical in bodywork and general specifications and in fact they, as well as the 4AC, were all likely conceived in parallel during the 1950 model year.
The most visible external differences between the 4AB and the 4AD were the bumpers, which were now larger and more rounded and the tail lights, which were mounted on long extension housings attached to the rear fenders.

Shortly afterwards, Watts-Russell invited the graphic designer Vaughan Oliver to create sleeve art for the label and as a result 4AD quickly acquired a visually distinctive identity which complemented the artful and atmospheric music that it was releasing at that time.
In the 1990s, 4AD established an office in Los Angeles and enjoyed success with bands such as The Breeders, Red House Painters, Unrest, and His Name Is Alive.
It was originally formed as Axis Records, but this was quickly changed to 4AD when it became apparent that the name Axis was already being used by another music company.

At the same time, 4AD somehow had a freak UK Number One hit in the early days of House music with the collaged and influential "Pump Up The Volume" by M/A/R/R/S.

By 1985 the 4ADlabel had established itself as one of the leading independent record companies on the planet.
In 1987, Throwing Muses, a four piece band from Boston in the USA were signed to the 4AD, beginning one of the most vital phases in the label's history.

But it was 4ADRecords, a little independent label in the UK, that literally turned that gothic gloom into art.
4AD probably wasn't the first record company to be spawned from a design studio, but no other label married a cohesive sound to striking visual imagery to create such an effective package.
Well, 4AD had pretty much designed themselves into a very narrow demographic, and when punk broke in America, they were caught completely unprepared.
1Fast400 Forums -> 1test / 4ad cycle - different AM PM dosages(Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-08)
I was wondering if I could do 100mg of 1test and 200 or 250mg of the 4ad in the AM and then 100mg of 1test and 100mg of 4ad at night.
I was thinking the higher amount of 4ad in the AM would help with the lethargy during the day, but then at night the lower amount would actually help me sleep better.
Both 1test and 4ad are transdermal, I should have been more specific but I figured people would know that by seeing the dosages.

4AD is one of those labels that holds a place in my heart- not only for their impeccable taste in which bands to release, but equally for their art and design.
The 4AD brand is one which inherently (if only by coincidence) stands for quality bands...the logo is classic and I love it.
4AD is an 'independent' recordlabel which launched the careers of the Cocteau Twins and Dead Can Dance in the early 1980s, as well as bringing The Pixies to a wider audience at the end of the 80s.
I'd run the m1,4ADD for 6 weeks (start at 120 and move up), drop the 4AD (unless you want your cycle to be wet, although the 4hydroxy test may help dry it up), drop the 1,4ad, and drop the M1T.
A "new super" substance will be the main substance of the stack with the m1,4ad included with 4ad and ill kick start with the 40h deca by vpx.
A lot of folks seem to be pretty high on 4ad and 1 test with this but it doesn't sound as if making your own transdermal is always the easiest thing to do.
In the first year, the labelreleased a number of 7 inches from bands that would grow to become very influential groups of the 80s including Bauhaus, The Birthday Party, The The, Modern English and The Wolfgang Press which featured members of Wire.
4AD sign a huge distribution with Warner Brothers to release their albums stateside along with a lot of bandmate swapping, which of course breeds new and sometimes even more exciting bands.
The Breeders and Belly are among these releasing popular albums released in the early 90s, along with the debut releases from His Name is Alive, Red House Painters and Frank Black's first solo material.
From early 4AD artists like Dif Juz, the Wolfgang Press and The Pixies on up to the Red House Painters and his own current project, the Hope Blister, Ivo (as everyone calls him) has certainly succeeded in generating colorful new music.
As a way to unify the diverse output on the label, many 4AD albums, particularly during the '80s, were presented with dreamy, surreal, soft-focus photography or art on their covers.
A large number of early 4AD albums, including those by the Cocteau Twins, were recorded at Blackwing Studios in London, which was initially equipped for 8-track recording, but eventually evolved into a 24-track facility.
The only difference is that it is now a single document, rather than the six pages that it is there.
4AD: On the subject of Split, I know you had difficulties with that release.
I mean its great in England because we do 2 eps and have 8 songs, which leaves 6 left over, two 7"s and then this time around we've got the 4AD 10" we have to come up with 3 tracks for that and for the compilation.
Static Multimedia - 4AD Opens Vaults For January 10th Releases(Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-08)
On January 10th, 4AD returns to their very early history, releasing the first incarnations of bands that went on to become legendary (Rema-Rema, Mass, and The Wolfgang Press).
Before 4AD was called 4AD, it released four singles under the name Axis, until a change had to be made due to another label with the same name.
Once the name 4AD was born, their inaugural release was the only single by Rema Rema and a mighty statement of intent, although the band had already split up by the time it was released.
It features lots of colour pictures on various 4AD sleeves that include: Pixies, Pale Saints, Breeders, Michael Brook, Heidi Berry, etc; as well as other designs made by Chris Bigg and Paul McMenamin who, together with Vaughan, are v23.
They will continue to work on 4AD material and they will continue to do their own outside work.
Oliver and Bigg had to leave the in-house studio at 4AD after the company was forced to "downsize", although Oliver had always worked there on a freelance basis.
From Frank Black's outlandish guitar attack to the ethereal sound of the Cocteau Twins, the English indielabel4ADstands responsible for delivering us a wealth of influential underground rock over the last quarter century.
In November the label officially celebrates its 25 years of good work with a string of performances by label acts including the Breeders and Kristen Hersh, as well the release of a limited-edition compilation recalling the label's greatest moments titled 1980 Forward.
Cue a diverse list of releases throughout the '80s and '90s from the likes of indie darlings the Breeders and the primitive house sampling of M/A/R/R/S. Today, 4AD are experimenting with the lush electronica of Magnetophone and the Mountain Goats' dark lyricism.

The only problem for me is that the m1,4 is so damn expensive compared to 4AD.
I bought some DS M1,4ADD a while back and can't wait to try them! Not sure what would be better for lean mass in 4AD vs M1,4ADD since both are regarded as bulking agents.
You said that m1,4ad is expensive, but everything is "expensive" when compared to 4AD.

I'm just looking for the most gains in overall mass/size and i read that 4ad rids water retention and at the same time creatine promotes water retention.

The Beggars Group is a family of independent recordlabels including 4AD, Beggar Banquet, Matador Records, PlayLouderecordings, Too Pure and XL Recordings.
The influential 4ADlabel was started in 1980 by music enthusiasts Ivo Watts-Russell and Peter Kent (3) with financial help from Beggars Banquet, whose record store chain the pair worked for.
Originally calling their label Axis (2), they released an initial series of four 7" singles before finding out that the name Axis was already being used by another label.
Drawing influence from other UK indielabels such as Beggars Banquet, Postcard and Factory Records, 4AD quickly established a unique indentity thanks to both the cover designs of Vaughan Oliver/v23 and the label's unique numbering system.
As the rock underground slouched towards mainstream acceptance in the late-'80s well before the grungequake made such baby steps seem trivial 151; the Pixies fired a much-needed salvo of strident aggression and willful nonconformity across the bow of left-field music.
The Pixies hailed from such diverse locales as Ohio, the Philippines, California and Boston, where the group assembled in 1986.
Following Throwing Muses onto Britain's 4ADlabel, they debuted with Come on Pilgrim, an eight-song explosion (recorded, roughly, as a demo) of gritty art passion: strummed and scratched acoustic and electric guitars, vocals sung and shrieked in English and Spanish, rhythms that race, rest and drift.
