IOTA/IOTA-ES occultation update for (552) Sigelinde / TYC 1868-01529-1 event on 2005 Nov 17, 14:23 UT Visible from Philippines, Indonesia Summary ------- On 2005 Nov 17 UT, the 78 km diameter asteroid (552) Sigelinde will occult a 10.6 mag star in the constellation Gemini for observers along a path across Philippines, Indonesia.
In the case of an occultation, the combined light of the asteroid and the star will drop by 4.2 mag to 14.8 mag (the magnitude of the asteroid) for at most 8.1 seconds.
