Boston.com / Sports / BC avoids rout, not loss
BC (9-2) struggled at the start and in the opening minutes of the second half.
But BC remained in contention through the persistence of Smith, who had six offensive rebounds in the first half, including a fifth-chance attempt that led to two foul shots, and a three-quarter-court press that helped blank the Tigers for a 3:59 span.
Meanwhile, BC was gaining momentum with a full-court press and the inside play of Smith and Nate Doornekamp in cutting the deficit to 62-46 with 4:25 left.

In 63 BC Cicero, who was consul at the time, discovered and denounced his conspiracy to the Senate, and Catiline had to flee from Rome.
In January 62 BC he and his fellows were intercepted by the Roman army near Pistoria (now Pistoia), and he died in the subsequent battle.
