The Battle of Changping in 260 BC was a decisive victory of the state of Qin of China over Zhao during the Warring States Period.
In the Battle of Jingxing (井陘之戰), in 205 BC, the famed Chinese commander Han Xin, with an army of 30,000 levies, defeated a numerically larger army of Zhao near Jingxing (Jing Gorge), a narrow and dangerous defile in modern Hebei province.
