Another warm morning and the sun is out, but there's also some fairly strong winds as well - GALA was not operating early on and it looks like they may well not all day.
Just given Kagura a call and at the moment because of the winds only the 3 lifts at the Mitsumata area are open.
The snow remaining on the slopes is soft to the point that intended operations thru to Sunday(22nd of May) are in jeopardy.

 Wivenhoe War Memorial Fund
On Sunday, at Wivenhoe's VE Commemoration Service at the Congregational Church, Cllr Peter Hill, Town Mayor, and Patrick Baxter, Chairman of the Wivenhoe branch of the Royal British Legion, launched a fund to raise £3,250 to pay for much needed cleaning, and repairs to the base of Wivenhoe's War Memorial in St Mary's churchyard.
It is believed that Beatrice Varrow, widow of George Ernest Varrow, paid for the Memorial in 1921.
George Varrow, Sapper 164966, from General Base Depot, Royal Engineers, died in the 6th General Hospital in Rouen, France, on 18th February, 1917, aged 29 years.

I was going to edit my statement by i couldn't but most people that i chat with hated the 3D version.
I have got my mega drive out and been playing on it(i know thats sad).but u lot have gone from saying BS in 3D to BS back to 2D soon it will be BS in 1D (lol) so make up your mind.
In my opinion, the very best adventure games are the 2D ones, although I think that while 3D is the future of adventure games, there's also no reason to think that there will be no place for 2D anymore.
