	World Trade Center
		The World Trade Center was a complex of several buildings around a central plaza, near the foot of Manhattan in New York City.
		The twin towers and 7 World Trade Center, an adjacent 47-storey building, collapsed in a terrorist attack on September 11, 2001, when two commercial jetliners were deliberately crashed into the twin towers.
		Since the World Trade Center's destruction, the Empire State Building is again the tallest building in New York, after spending almost 30 years as the third-tallest.
