The Ch'un-ch'iu ('Spring and Autumn Annals'), a chronicle covering the period from 722 BC to 481 BC, notes the occurrence of 36 solar eclipses during this interval.
It is pleasing to note that after work on a history of some 3300 years, that the chronology is only five or six years out of alignment with official history which can be proven by scientific and archaeological fact.
