		The 7C is a big change from the 6XS, and we'll compare the 7C to both the 6X and the 9C, as well as JR's competitive offering the 6102, in detail.
		The 7C is a powerful entry level radio -- so much more powerful than Futaba's last 7 channel, the super 7, at a far lesser price tag than that incredibly popular radio had not so many years ago.
		Most significant, the 7C is a very usable entry-to-mid-level helicopter radio, whereas the 6X was terribly lacking in that area.

	Douglas DC-7C Seven Seas
		Douglas responded by stretching the fuselage by 42 inches and, more importantly, lengthening the wings by inserting a 5 foot extension at each wing root.
		This gave the new DC-7C Seven Seas (in a clever pun on "7C") not only more room for fuel, but placed the engines further out on the wing, lessening the noise and vibration of the rather loud Wright R-3350 radials.
