	Interstate 85 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Its southern terminus is at an intersection with Interstate 65 in Montgomery, Alabama; its northern terminus intersects with Interstate 95 in Petersburg, Virginia, near Richmond (Map).
		The junction between I-85 and I-77 in Charlotte is a strange configuration.
		When I-85 passes under I-77, the northbound lanes of I-77 are to the west (south on I-85) of the southbound lanes, and southbound I-77 is to the east (north on I-85) of northbound.

		Each year when the verses from Psalm 85 were read in the liturgical service, I would visualize the poetry of the words, the hope they made me feel about living.
		The acrylic painting, PSALM 85, was completed in 1990, and this painting was the source for a poster printed by The National Association for Hispanic Elderly, for use as a fundraiser for their work developing housing for the elderly.
		Through collaboration of artist and printer, decisions of ink color mixtures, and 51 individual drawings required for each color, I was able to see the gradual evolution of the work.

	Is E-85 worth the ride?
		The benefits of E-85 are obvious to corn farmers and ethanol producers, but for those buying the alternative fuel at the pump, the savings might not be as great as they think.
		E-85, made with 85 percent ethanol, is being promoted throughout the state as a cheaper alternative to traditional gasoline that helps the local economy and reduces the country's dependence on foreign oil.
		The cost of E-85 in Bismarck on Thursday was $2.29 a gallon, which was about 18 percent cheaper than gasoline with 10 percent ethanol, and almost 20 percent cheaper than gas without ethanol.
