 S. 931, Federal Land Recreational Visitor Protection Act of 2004
931 would direct the Secretary of Agriculture, in consultation with the Secretary of the Interior, to establish a program to reduce the risk of avalanches on certain federal land used for recreation.
CBO estimates that implementing S. 931 would cost $4 million in 2005 and $65 million over the next five years, assuming appropriation of the authorized amounts.
