OCCULTATION BY (962) ASLOG - 2004 AUG 23
On 2004 Aug 23 UT, the 39 km diameter asteroid (962) Aslog will occult a 6.8 mag star in the constellation Ophiuchus for observers along a path across western Australia slightly north of Perth.
In the case of an occultation, the combined light of the asteroid and the star will drop by 9.6 mag to 16.4 mag (the magnitude of the asteroid) for at most 5.3 seconds.
