The 99MP Party was formed by Margaret Robertson, who organised a referendum in 1999 calling for the number to be reduced back to 99.

Oddly, should the 99 MP Party breach the 5 per cent party vote threshold to reach the corridors of power it would automatically result in fewer MPs.
With no electorate candidates and just two on the party list, the 99 MP Party will be unable to fill the quota of six MPs a party would get if it won 5 per cent of the party vote, reducing Parliament by four seats.

Chief Election Commissioner M S Gill today made a fresh appeal to all the political parties and candidates to refrain from making personal allegations against their rival candidates during the ongoing campaign for the Lok Sabha polls.
It was regrettable that many leaders were indulging in making personal allegations, Dr Gill said and added that political parties should concern themselves with the policies and programmes of their rival candidates and justify why they deserved to be elected.
On the suggestion of some political parties to amend the law to prohibit a person from contesting from two constituencies simultaneously, Dr Gill said his personal view was that if a person contested from two constituencies and won, he should be allowed to retain one seat as now under the law.

There's not one, but two republican parties ("The Republic of New Zealand" and the "Republic Aotearoa New Zealand Party", a party promoting a smaller Parliament ("The 99 MP Party"), and one promoting family values (the "New Zealand Family Rights Protection party").
Probably on the left are the "Labour Coalition Party" and the "Beneficiaries Political Party", and on the right are the National Front and (probably) the "New Zealand Patriot Party".
There are only two parties which I haven't mentioned above: the NZ Family Rights Protection Party (which I thik has been mentioned on the news recently), and the Aotearoa New Zealand Equal Values Party, which withdrew its application.

With fisrt Mario Party title released about 18 months ago, Nintendo, with third party developers Hudson Software, have produced another game that may otherwise been considered boring into fun for all the family.
I wish Mario was holding an actual party - I would love to see the portly plumber juking and jiving on the dance floor while sampling some of Luigi's bolognaise dip and playing pin the tail on the Yoshi!
I would have to say that "Mario Party 2" is great, but it's not as good as the first one was.

I have a pretty good idea that the National Party is the main centre-right group, Labour the main centre-left group.
The Maori Party are a party formed only 15 months ago to defend the rights of New Zealand's indigenous people, who got rather a raw deal from the government over the recent foreshore and seabed issue (a long story...).
The Progressives are solidly left wing; their leader (and only MP now) is a former Labour party member who left in 1989 because Labour was pursuing neo-liberal policies.
