		The largest member of Airbus’ A320 Family, the A321 offers the best seat-mile costs of any single-aisle aircraft and brings seating capacities into the realm of the widebody jetliner.
		This stretched fuselage aircraft has an overall length of 44.51 metres (146 ft.) and an operating range of up to 3,000 nm./5,600 km with the maximum passenger payload.
		Typical two-class seating capacity for the A321 is 185 seats with 16 in first class and 169 in economy, while the A321 single-class configuation comfortably seats 199 passengers.

		The engine is produced by CFM International, a 50/50 joint company of Snecma of France and General Electric of the United States.
		Swissair, which took delivery of its first DAC-powered A321 in January 1995, is currently operating a fleet of five A320/A321s and is scheduled to take seven more A320/A321 aircraft by year's end.
