  Chess openings: English, Symmetrical (A34)
d4 e6, which (from White's 2nd) bears the ECO code A34.
Maybe it is more likely to arise from an English and that's why Fritz has it under A34, but of course the game was intended as some Indian defense or Benoni.
I am a bit tired of raising "points" or stuff like that at the moment.

Highways Agency - A34 Peartree to Weston Major Maintenance Scheme
The A34 Peartree to Weston-on-the-Green Major Maintenance scheme commenced on 12 September 2005 near Oxford between the Peartree Interchange (A44) and Weston-on-the-Green (B430) and was completed in April 2006.
Originally built 15 years ago, this section of the Highways Agency Area 3 network required major maintenance to 5 miles (8km) of both the north and southbound carriageway, including the replacement and full depth repair of a number of concrete sections, and the entire length of the scheme being overlayed with asphalt.
In order to ensure the safety of the Highways Agency workforce and the travellers upon the A34, a 40mph speed limit was enforced throughout the length of the scheme, whilst a free vehicle recovery service was provided to prevent congestion if a commuter’s vehicle broke down at any point throughout the works.

  Cancer Immunity 6:2 (2006)
The A34 gene is approximately 34 kb in length, equivalent to nucleotides 25298366 — 25332446 of the chromosome X genomic contiguous sequence, NT 011651.14.
The novel antigen, A34, is 32% identical to GPA33 and is expressed in normal testis, normal stomach and in esophageal, gastric and ovarian cancer.
A34 shares certain characteristics, such as cancer expression and mapping to chromosome X, with members of the cancer/testis (CT) antigen family, a group of immunogenic proteins whose expression is restricted to gametogenic tissue and cancer (28).

A34 (Winchester to Oxford; Kidsgrove to Manchester)
OK, so the A34 is technically Winchester to Preston [1], but after they opened the M40 around 1990, they renumbered the A34 from Oxford to Birmingham to death (A44, to Evesham, then A3400), and now it's not really the same.
The two lanes from Kingsway stretch of the A34 are then thumped onto a single track road - just wide enough for two lanes on each side but it's a bit tight with the cycle lanes, though the two lanes are needed in the morning.
For most of its length it was part of the Winchester-Preston trunk road which diverged from the A34 near Kidsgrove to follow the A50 to Warrington and then the A49.
