	A41 road - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		The A41 is a major trunk road in England, United Kingdom that links London to Birkenhead.
		At junction 5 of the M42, the A41 follows its old course.
		Further north, the road bypasses Solihull, goes through the city centres of Birmingham and Wolverhampton, and passes close to the RAF Museum at Cosford and one of the sites of the V Festival at Weston Park near to M54 junction 3.

		I suppose you could argue that by the law of averages, with a certain number of accidents happening at random spots, at some point some are going to happen close to each other.
		A41 north from M25 has always been a popular spot for a speed trap - know a couple of former colleagues who got short bans for speeding along that stretch.
		As for speed cameras, the A41 could do with them about every 100 metres from the M25 junction to Bicester, especially between Aylesbury and Bicester.

		The A41 appears to start at Spur Road and continues along the A410 as it is now until Stanmore and then goes up Stanmore Hill, currently the A4140.
		The A41 then takes up what is now the A411 through Bushey and Watford, and thereafter takes up what is the A41 now - well the A41 until recently anyway.

		In a twist of fate, the remainder of the A41(M) has actually been completed, just downgraded in standard to the present A41 between Tring and the M25.
		A temporary slip allowed northbound traffic to leave the A41 and cross the GSJ on the flyover but the southbound carriageway over the flyover was closed.
		I can't remember where the start of motorway signs were but I suspect the flyover was not classed as a special road and since it was not the A41 it had to be unclassified.

		The new £25 million A41 Aston Clinton bypass is 4 miles (6.3km) long and runs from the new Woodlands Roundabout to the west of the Aston Clinton in Buckinghamshire to the new Tring Hill Interchange in Hertfordshire.
		Access to the village will be via a slip road off the A41.
		The new bypass is expected to remove 70% of the traffic currently passing through the village and is expected to carry 20,000 vehicles a day on opening.
