	Aberdeen 2000 - Craigievar Castle, Glen Muick, etc.
		After leaving Craigievar Castle I continued along the A980 until it meets the A944 near Alford.
		I turned onto the A944 heading in a north westerly direction until I reached the junction with the A97 near Mossat and turned onto this road.
		Back on the A944, I continued driving along this road until Colnabaichin where I joined the A939 which would take me up through the Grampian Mountains.

		A944, the road to Alford/Strathdon, lots of mud on the road at Sauchen (where the bridge on the corners are).
		There is a warning sign, but 0.5 mile after the mud (and sign), at the end of a nice straight on the corner there is an other section on mud.
		It is harvest time for the farmers, so unfortunately this wont be the only two sections of mud (and other stuff!), so you all watch out!

		From Inverurie on the A90 take the B993 via Kemnay (traditional granite quarrying) and Monymusk (arts centre and Norman church) for the A944 (optional detour to Castle Fraser).
		Travel by Muir of Dinnet nature reserve, then join A93, the main Deeside road, going west for Ballater.
		This gives fine views of what Byron called "the steep crowning glories of dark Lochnagar".
