On my trip through Australia the week of September 13th, I had the chance to visit AAMI Stadium and Adelaide Oval (cricket grounds) in Adelaide, South Australia.
At AAMI Stadium, Jamie Butterfield is the field manager who's father was the previous ground's manager.
Butterfield for the semi-final game of the AFL playoffs at AAMI Stadium between Port Adeliade and St. Kilda (a Melbourne football club) on September 17th.

The only downside is that celebrations would be very late, but if you win who cares and at least most won't have to work the next day like they do this weekend anyway.
I know the SANFL are bitter with the SACA, but for the good of the comp it has to be at least tried.
AAMI would have to be the least "fan friendly" stadium in the country, I wish it would just sink into the swamp.

A look at the major sporting facilities in our State reveals that our largest venue is Subiaco Oval with a capacity of 43,080, followed by the WACA with 28,000.
Building a new stadium is the only way that these types of limitations can be overcome.
The people of WA are missing out on major events and the state is missing out on economic development including tourism spending and investment in sport and culture.
