Dot Records was a American record label which was active between 1950 and 1977.
The label was known for hiring artists with hit records in previous years to record remakes of their hits.
In 1974 the label was bought by ABC Dunhill Records, which discontinued the label in 1977.

This rousing set, recorded November 24, 1976 at Hollywood's Roxy, features Mayall on vocals, keyboards and blues harp, accompanied by some outstanding guitar work by Gary Rowles and excellent rhythm work by Larry Taylor, Frank Wilson and Warren Bryant on fretless bass, drums and percussion, respectively.
Within a week we were in the studio working on our upcoming ABC LP A Hard Core Package, then off on a 3 month/12 country tour that received absolutely overwhelming audience response.
