	Absa Cup becomes richest Cup tournament in Africa
		The Absa Cup Champions qualify to play in the African Confederation Cup â“ which is a competition for the National Cup Winner in each of the African countries.
		Absa realized that some of the Premiership teams who qualify to participate in the African Confederation Cup cannot afford the costs associated with travel during the round robin stages of the tournament or the costs outweighed the benefits, therefore making little or no operational sense.
		Absa have shown by this increase in prize money their continuing commitment towards the Absa Cup.
