		The goal of this digital compression technology is to produce a digital representation of an audio signal which, when decoded and reproduced, sounds the same as the original signal, while using a minimum of digital information (bit-rate) for the compressed (or encoded) representation, providing true surround sound.
		It provides five full range channels (3 Hz to 20,000 Hz) in what is sometimes referred to as a "3/2" configuration: three front channels (left, center, and right), plus two surround channels.
		A sixth bass-only effects channel (3 Hz to 120 Hz), also called sometimes "low frequencies enhancement channel" (LFE), is also provided, giving rise to the term "5.1" channels.

		I layed out a small (1.5 inch x 3 inch) circuit board using surface mount components and got the parts together for the board.
		I found them very clearly labeled about 3 inches away from the MUTE pin along the edge of the board.
		The pins are right next to each other but I connected the +5V wire to the +5V copper track (which connects to the +5V pin) a little way away from the -5V pin just to make sure there wouldn't be any chance of a short between +5V and -5V.

		If turbine hadn't taken on lord of the rings online then I think they could pull out an ac3...but it looks like all the original AC1 devs are long gone, and its a shame because they really knew what they were doing.
		I love AC's skill system and large world to run around in.
		I miss AC every now and then...in the near future I'm going to resub, since I'm guessing nearly 10 months of content (while I was gone) should be enough to keep me busy.
