The Han dynasty was re-established in AD 25, with its capital at Loyang, and is known as the Eastern Han.
In 316 AD, a strong detachment of Xiong Nu, a nomadic tribe from the north, attacked and conquered the Jin capital of Luoyang.
Added to this was the difficulty of governing such a wide empire, rivalries among heirs, natural disasters, and peasant uprisings which caused the Yuan to fall in 1368.

 REUSE OF ANCIENT
Ornamental stones were originally used in Cairo just for columns (beginning in the ninth century AD) and it was not until the Fatimid and Ayyubid periods (969-1171 AD and 1171-1250 AD, respectively) that they were employed for opus sectile, and then only for the prayer niches.
By the early fifteenth century AD, after the war in Palestine was concluded, these stones became scarce and were used less lavishly than before, and so the mosque-mausoleum of Sultan al-Muayyad Shaykh (1415-22 AD) was the last to be richly decorated with these materials.
Stones added in modern restorations, which began in the 1890's, are excluded where recognized.

The publication of their work was first announced for release by EREN in Istanbul but was cancelled after there was an abrupt termination of the authors' joint venture in 1998.
Finally the authors have added four silver coins which they state are probably struck by Ahmed Beg II (823-7), the other son of Ilyas Beg.
The second part concerns the imitations of the gigliati struck in Naples around 1300 AD which were assumed to have been struck by the Sarukhan and Mentese beyliks.

 Paquimé: The Anasazi Rosetta Stone
Specifically, I am addressing the 10 small, paved key-slot kiva/granaries in Pueblo Bonita’s east wing; the basic question is whether all of the kiva-type rooms were just that, i.e., religious kivas, or were actually, primarily, long-term corn storage granaries.
When the population of Oasis America began to decline, in AD 1300, there was a shift from a surplus agrarian culture based on corn to the subsistence agricultural-pastoral culture found today.
As my analysis shows that the cultures of Mesoamerica and Oasis America were definitely in contact with each other, I propose that the platform mounds at Pueblo Bonito are similar to those found in Hohokam and Paquimé areas and were the primary religious structures at Pueblo Bonito.
