As previously reported, the ADV Films webiste at www.advfilms.com was hacked on Saturday morning by a group of Turkish hackers called Ayyildiz.
ADV Films is a Houston, Texas based international multimedia entertainment company, active in home video production and distribution, broadcast television, theatrical film distribution, merchandising, original productions, magazine and comic book publishing and is the largest anime company in North America.
The "V" in ADV stands for "Vision," as the company's name is actually "A.D. Vision." However, by their own admission, what the initials "A.D." stand for are a closely-guarded company secret.

DVD: Gamera: Attack of Legion (ADV Films)
The print used for the transfer, though, is all put devoid of scratches; furthermore, its the Japanese version of the film, not one which ADV tampered with, which means no ugly fl boxs with green English text inside to cover Japanese text found in the film and the original Japanese title sequence is present.
ADV went the extra step, however, by adding "Outtakes" and a short called 'Lake Texarkana Gamera.' Now first off, before anyone gets their hopes up, these "outtakes" are actually, intentional, "dubbing outtakes" that poke fun at some of the lines and situations in the film.
To end on a high note, ADV seems to have fixed the problem with Gamera: Guardian of the Universe's measly number of chapters by tripling the number to 24 for Gamera: Attack of Legion.
