		The af2's opening weekend includes a number of interesting contests, highlighted by the introduction of Arena Football to the fans of Lexington, Ky. On Saturday, March 29, the expansion Lexington Horsemen host the expansion Daytona Beach ThunderBirds.
		In all, the league's first weekend will feature three of the five teams that are part of the af2's 2008 expansion class.

	af2 - Lubbock Renegades Arena Football
		The award winner will be announced December 6th.
		The arenafootball2 (af2) released their 2008 schedule and the Lubbock Renegades will open the season on the road against the Austin Wranglers on April 5th before coming home for their home opener scheduled for April 12th against the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz at City Bank Coliseum.
		Two more players from last season’s Lubbock Renegades squad have advanced to the Arena Football League (AFL), as the league announced that defensive lineman Ken Scott has agreed to terms with the Tampa Bay Storm and defensive back James McCoy has agreed to terms with the Kansas City Brigade.
