Shareholder have filed lawsuits against AFC Enterprises Inc., the parent company of Seattle Coffee Co., after it announced earlier this week that it would restate earnings for fiscal 2001 and the first three quarters of fiscal 2002.
The lawsuits, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, allege that the company failed to disclose improper accounting practices, which inflated its operating results.
