	AFI (band) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		AFI (A Fire Inside) is an American Hardcore band formed in 1991 by Davey Havok (vocals), Markus Stopholese (guitar), Vic Chalker (bass) and Adam Carson (drums) in Ukiah, California.
		After the recording of the A Fire Inside EP in 1998, Mark left the band to be replaced by guitarist Jade Puget, formerly of Redemption 87 and Loose Change, who was critical in forming the band's new sound over the following albums.
		Following on from the new approach they had taken on the aforementioned A Fire Inside EP (released on Adeline records) the band recorded their Black Sails in the Sunset (Nitro 1998) a musical turning point.

		Well, A.F.I. is a band that I truly like a lot, which shows by the fact that I keep buying their very short ep's.
		I'm a big fan of A.F.I. and I have found that in general, most rock fans seem to enjoy A.F.I., so I recommend it loosely to about anyone who enjoys any genre of music.
		In conclusion, this is a very good and short ep well worth the small price you have to pay for it.

		The standout AFI songs all seem to follow a simple format: Nursery-rhymish verse followed by an epic, anthemic chorus.
		AFI's stage act consisted of a lot of kicks and running around.
		"Love your hate, your faith lost, you are now one of us..." were the first words out of AFI's Davey Havok's mouth at their CD release party for "Sing The Sorrows." Wait a minute, weren't these guys a pop-punk band?
