		Pretty simple statement, but as anyone who owns a Marui AK will know, that particular mech-box is not not be sneezed at, not matter how early on in the Marui story it was designed.
		For those looking at their first AK, the main reason why the box is so prized by many is the fact that the motor is attached to the gear box, unlike the Armalite series which have a loose motor, held in place only by the hand-grip.

		The AK I own is not appropriate (As a "looted weapon") for my Vietnam 1969 Ranger/LRRP impression, and so I am trying to sell this one (Or trade it), as it is worth more than the standard one with the imitation wood grips, which I would greatly like to have.
		The problem, though, is that I cannot identify where this AK originally came from, but I know that it is a custom gun that came from one of the more mainstream airsoft retailers.
		I bought the AK off my friend when I decided to do my Vietnam impression because it was cheaper than saving up $100 more for a brand new one that was worth less anyways, even though this AK isn't PERFECT for the impression.

		Milled receiver AKs have the front trunnion milled in the receiver, so they have one less part than your stamped AK.
		You also have one less part if it doesn't have a threaded barrel, or does not have a set-screwed muzzle device (flash hider or compensator.) I believe that muzzle/barrel nuts are considered a muzzle device unless welded in, so play it safe and put a U.S. one in.
		This is another reason to have as many U.S. parts on your rifle as possible, keeping in mind aesthetics as well as your desire for as much authenticity as possible, so YOUR call.

		Classic Army just released the SLR-105 which is basically an AK-47 with fl grips, full metal reciever, new flashider, and a ribbed forgrip, as well as a few minor changes that make operating and using more enjoyable.
		No ribbed forgrip for the more traditional ak look, and they use normal TM highcaps instead of the straighter less curved ak mags.
		The one major difference is, instead of having 2 inches of barrel after the gas block in the front, they just put the front sight and then a spetnaz flashider.

		Drag's uses a different system of operation and are not really AK varients.
		Wasn't the guy who took those at one time accused of falsly posing as "Spetnaz" and claiming to have taken the pics while on some military exercizes.
		If it's the same guy it was pointed out that the guys in the pics were a little on the heavy side to be "elite" soldiers and all the weapons were brand new, never fired.
