Structural Equation Modeling using AMOS: An Introduction
AMOS is available to faculty, students, and staff at the University of Texas at Austin via the STATS Windows terminal server.
When the SEM program performs its matrix inversion, that parameter estimate may drop from the solution space defined by the list of model parameters, and the program thus suddenly detects what it perceives to be a structural underidentification problem.
AMOS also produces tabular output similar to that of SPSS that displays the unstandardized and standardized regression coefficients, the standard error estimates of the unstandardized regression coefficients, and tests of statistical significance of the null hypothesis that each unstandardized regression coefficient equals zero.

The BASIC - Programming Language is a high-level programming language invented in 1964 by John George Kemeny and Thomas Eugene Kurtz at Dartmouth College.
BASIC was at one time the world's most popular programming language, but in it's orginal form is much less popular today.
However, the Visual Basic programming language and its close relatives, which have diverged greatly from the original BASIC, are probably the most widely distributed languages in the world today due to their inclusion in every major Microsoft Office application, so BASIC's influence continues to be strong.

The original BASIC language was invented in 1964 by John Kemeny (1926–93) and Thomas Kurtz (1928–) at Dartmouth College.
BASIC was intended to address the complexity issues of older languages with a new language designed specifically for the new class of users the time-sharing systems allowed—that is, a "simpler" user who was not as interested in speed as in simply being able to use the machine.
The language was based partly on FORTRAN II and partly on Algol 60, with additions to make it suitable for timesharing and, later, matrix arithmetic.
