		The AMSA Loan Consolidation Program urgently recommends that all students, even those who will still be enrolled after July 1, 2006, should consolidate prior to July 1st 2005 and possibly earlier.
		The AMSA Loan Consolidation Program has designed the, “Super Two-Step Strategy for Physicians-in-Training” where eligible continuing medical and pre-med students who would like to take advantage of and lock in existing 2005/2006 low fixed interest rates and gain consolidation lender and borrower benefit choices may be able to do so with in-school consolidation.
		The AMSA Loan Consolidation Program strongly encourages medical school’s financial aid offices to facilitate the process of consolidation choices and borrower discount benefits by utilizing at least two independent lenders in the financial aid award-packaging protocol for their students.

	AMSA Annual Conferences
		The AMSA Conference is AMSA's primary event of the year, and is held each July (usually in the AVCC week) and each year is hosted in a different state, with the conference each fourth year being combined with the New Zealand Marine Science Association.
		AMSA encourages students to attend and present at the AMSA Conference and provides incentives by way of registration concessions, prizes and travel subsidies.
		Nominations are to be submitted at least 21 days prior to the AGM, to the AMSA Secretary.
