Aon Corporation is a NYSE-listed and leading provider of risk management services, insurance and reinsurance brokerage, human capital and management consulting, and specialty insurance underwriting.
Its New York offices were in the 99th and 100th floors of the south tower of the World Trade Center at the time of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack.
In spring of 2005, Aon acknowleged wrongdoing and settled out of court for $190 million payable over 30 months.
