APDA comprises about 40 universities, mainly in the Northeast, ranging as far north as Maine and as far south as Virginia.
In addition, APDA sponsors a novice tournament at the beginning of the season, a pro-am tournament midseason, and the North American Debating Championships, which is held every other year in the United States and includes the top teams from the United States and Canada.
APDA started as a way to coordinate tournament schedules among the Northeast schools and to provide a single point of contact for what was then a close working relationship with CUSID.

Best of all, Lindsey's father and sister (Kim) came to watch us on Saturday for four rounds, and I think we showed them some of the best rounds we've ever had.

I was captivated by this idea and this year had the energy to give you an idea what that tournament would look like.

The Implementation Plan of the Arctic Climate System Study ACSYS, published by the World Climate Research Programme (WMO/WCRP), calls for the establishment of an Arctic Precipitation Data Archive (APDA).
