The APRU Doctoral Students Network is a students organization that comprises mainly doctoral students of 36 leading universities from 16 economies in the Pacific Rim.

 CIO Represents UO at APRU Meetings
The APRU Senior Staff meeting itself consisted of reports on ongoing activities and a discussion of new initiatives (http://www.apru.org/activities/).
APRU's current IT conference is primarily for faculty who teach distance learning courses, so I proposed trying to develop community among IT professionals at APRU schools, with the hope that this would allow us to further explore how best to support the academic programs being developed by our presidents and academic leaders.
APRU meetings were held at Peking University, but on the last afternoon of the conference we were all paired with another Beijing university for a more informal time.

Currently the sheep are managed commercially and utilise river meadows alongside the River Loddon, as well as grazing on cereal volunteers, stubble turnips and dairy cow pasture in the winter months.
Adjacent to APRU is the Plant Environment Laboratory (PEL) and the field station of the School of Plant Sciences.
