Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical (ATC) Classification System
ATC classifications are available online, and are updated and published once a year by the World Health Organization Collaborating Centre for Drug Statistics Methodology (http://www.whocc.no/atcddd/).
The ATC system and its associated Defined Daily Dose as a measuring unit are recommended by the WHO for drug utilization studies.
In the ATC classification system, drugs are divided into different groups according to the organ or system on which they act and their chemical, pharmacological and therapeutic properties.

ATC assembled a team of Professional Engineers and Architects, along with outside specialty consultants, to manage and assess the mechanical, electrical and plumbing, structural and facade, fire protection, life safety, elevator and escalator systems and produce the final report within 14 calendar days.
ATC was hired to perform a feasibility study to generate design options for future ash disposal.
ATC’s assessed the existing native soils and found them suitable for foundation support.ATC’s recommendation was based upon findings in the vicinity of the planned foundation that revealed up to 25 feet of uncontrolled fill placed during the construction of an adjacent Interstate.

With this information constantly displayed on the ATC radar scope, the controller is able to make timely decisions regarding handing over aircraft to the approach or departure control center, vectoring aircraft to avoid collision courses, maintaining safe altitude separation between aircraft, and locating and directing aircraft that are lost.
The desired code can be manually selected by the pilot on the Transponder control head in Mode W operation, or automatically set by an encoding altimeter or altitude digitizer for reporting the Aircraft's altitude in Mode "C" operation.
Code 7700 indicates an emergency condition, code 7600 is for reporting a communication radio failure, and code 7500 indicates that a hijack is in process.

AOPA Flight Training - Learning the Right Words
ATC instructions mostly consist of numbers preceded by key words that tell you what the numbers mean.
For example, an ATC facility name and frequency always follow "Contact" — "Contact Hometown Tower on one-two-three-point-four." And "Fly Heading" is usually followed by a three-digit compass heading — "Fly heading zero-niner-zero." Takeoff instructions are one exception.
Unless otherwise advised by ATC, a VFR aircraft or an aircraft conducting visual approach should overfly the runway while climbing to traffic pattern altitude and enter the traffic pattern via the crosswind leg.

[G] An explanation of the Genetic Code: DNA is a two-stranded molecule.
One strand of DNA holds the information that codes for various genes; this strand is often called the template strand or antisense strand (containing anticodons).
However, all rules have their exceptions, and such is the case with the Genetic Code; small variations in the code exist in mitochondria and certain microbes.

 UMC
The Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical (ATC) is a classification system in which drugs are divided into different groups according to the organ or system on which they act, and their chemical, pharmacological and therapeutic properties.
Substances classified in the same ATC 4th level cannot be considered pharmacotherapeutically equivalent, since their mode of action, therapeutic effect, drug interactions and adverse drug reaction profile may differ.
Alterations in ATC classification are made when the main use of a drug has clearly changed, and when new groups are required to accommodate new substances or to achieve better specificity in the groupings.

A group of letters, figures or a combination thereof which is either identical to, or the coded equivalent of, the aircraft callsign to be used in air ground communications, and which is used to identify the aircraft in ground-ground air traffic services communications.
The “required visual reference” means that section of the visual aids or of the approach area which should have been in view for sufficient time for the pilot to have made an assessment of the aircraft position and rate of change position, in relation to the desired flight path.
Essential traffic: That controlled traffic to which the provision of separation by ATC is applicable, but which, in relation to a particular controlled flight, is not separated there from by a prescribed minimum.

If the aircraft is not being subjected to unlawful interference, the pilot should respond to the query by broadcasting in the clear that he/she is not being subjected to unlawful interference.
Code 7500 is only assigned upon notification from the pilot that his/her aircraft is being subjected to unlawful interference.

A major aim of the Centre and Working Group is to maintain stable ATC codes and DDDs over time to allow trends in drug consumption to be studied without the complication of frequent changes to the system.
In the Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical (ATC) classification system, the drugs are divided into different groups according to the organ or system on which they act and their chemical, pharmacological and therapeutic properties.
The ATC classification system is modified and extended from the EPhMRA system by the addition of a therapeutic/pharmacological/chemical subgroup as the fourth level and a chemical substance subgroup as the fifth level.

The new area code was scheduled to be overlaid on the 408 area code on January 1, 1999, with mandatory 1 + 10 digit dialing to begin on October 1, 1999.
Before requiring the residents and businesses of the 408 area code to undergo another area code change, the CPUC recognized the necessity of determining the number of telephone numbers that are in use and the number yet to be used.

AVSIM ATC Product Comparison: A Tutorial   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-09-07)
One of the most difficult and demanding aspects of ATC adventure programming is to compute the vectors (headings) and altitudes that will position your aircraft for landing.
Your ATC add-on program should automatically recognize which type of airport you're at and apply the appropriate procedures for each, so let's take a closer look at two types of approaches to get an idea of what's involved.
That's the reason your ATC add-on might instruct you to fly at an altitude other than what you expected, simulating vertical spacing to accommodate "virtual" traffic separation and direction of flight.

If the operation is structured as such that you must provide a departure clearance to the practice area, and a landing clearance upon completion, you may count only the initial departure and final arrival operation as a local operation.
The auto-rotation activity is considered to be operating independently of ATC control and no count is authorized unless ATC must provide departure and landing clearance for each individual operation.
If you have an agreement (verbal or written) with the facility that is actually working the aircraft, which requires the penetrating aircraft to remain identified by some means be it a transponder code or some other method of identification, you may only count one overflight even though the aircraft may transverse your airspace numerous times.
