		We hold that the military judge prejudicially erred when she determined that defense sentencing evidence on appellant’s expected retirement pay was irrelevant and too confusing for admission at his court-martial.
		The clear import of this and related decisions concerning expected retirement pay is that it is a critical matter of which the members should be informed in certain cases before they decide to impose a punitive discharge.
		He also had no record of prior convictions or non-judicial punishments (although he was not a perfect airman) and he had reliable evidence as to the projected loss of retirement income as a result of a punitive discharge.
