AYSO (American Youth Soccer Organization) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the positive development of youth through the teaching and promotion of soccer.
Although AYSO is committed to competitive soccer, we are also concerned that the competition be healthy and positive.

 Palo Alto, CA AYSO Youth Soccer
Palo Alto AYSO is open to all boys and girls aged 5 to 18 (as of 7/31/06).
Palo Alto AYSO consists of about 2000 players and a host of volunteers, including more than 350 coaches, over 300 referees, plus people responsible for fields, schedules, permits, uniforms, equipment, and everything else involved in safe, fair, and fun soccer for kids.
AYSO is bound by the City of Palo Alto Rain Policy in its use of fields.

If you are a Sandian and you expect to volunteer 100 or more hours to AYSO this year, keep track of you hours, and file the form after the first of the year.
In addition to taking the CVP class, every AYSO Coach, Assistant Coach and Referee is required to fill out a volunteer application and have an AYSO staff member verify his or her ID before you the first practice or game.
The AYSO Training Center (ATC) (not staffed except during training sessions) is located at 3600 Osuna Rd. NE, Suite 316.

Under no circumstances should any AYSO Core or AYSO Select team conduct practices there if it has been raining and the fields are wet and unplayable.
We have had several recent complaints of our teams breaking this rule.Further complaints may very well cause all of AYSO to lose the fields.
