Aaron may lose his parking gig at the end of the month, we never completely counted on the money it brought in, but we were kind of using it to bolster the spending money account for the honeymoon.

Ch. 34: Total War   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-23)
Fiero talks about how the two world wars of the twentieth century were fought with a "no holds barred" attitude.
Fiero notes that two of the most influential authors that came out of the Second World War were Joseph Heller, author of the famous novel Catch-22, and Kurt Vonnegut, author of among many other novels, Slaughterhouse Five.
Fiero mentions nothing about this in her text, but both of these writers gained most of their fame and notoriety during the sixties and early seventies.

Pontiac Fiero is certainly not the first marque that comes to mind when the subject of off-roading comes up.
Dan reasons that like the original donor-car darling of the kit car business¡ªthe ubiquitous Bug¡ªthe Fiero makes a lot of sense as a donor because its body panels are easily removable and can be replaced with something much more exotic.
Preparing a Fiero donor for the Jalape?o kit is fairly simple, requiring removal of the body panels¡ªexcept for the doors, the roof, and the rear deck, all of which remain intact.

The Pontiac Fiero was marketed between 1984 and 1987, even though original GM plans called for the car to be a summer '82 introduction.
The Fiero when introduced was clearly a (then) Fiat X1/9 clone (later sold as a Bertone) but GM pitched it as a sporty commuter car- with sharp looks and good fuel numbers, but not as a sports car.
I can still recall the first sentence of a review of the (then) new Fiero in one of the car magazines: "This car reminds me of that blonde back in high school that always got her way because she was so doggone cute".

This has not been a sterling year for Dave Duncan’s reputation - the Cardinal rotation, quietly one of the best in the league the past few years, is now Chris Carpenter, a lot of underachieving established pitchers, and Anthony Reyes, a pitcher who the Cards have been reluctant to use until recently.
